While expecting people to be professional and honest, you slowly lost the confidence for others and start learning doubting is a new normal thing.
On July 13, 2020 (Monday), I clearly remembered it was a simply Monday morning, baby woke up as usual with me and after quick breakfast, we put in laundry for cleaning and that was a bit after 7 am. I picked up my phone and saw a new incoming email from my pro bono lawyer, his email subject was so simple but powerful. It said: We won!
I couldn’t remember how I walked into the bedroom and woke up hubby. I told him, dear, Matt just email and said, we won our case at 9th circ. court of appeal.
That very moment, it brought back the same happy and exciting feeling as the day we found out about expecting our first baby!
I had to read the email SO MANY TIMES to make sure I didn’t read it wrong. The 2 simple words brought a great news and first justice finally shows up.
We thank you, dear God, Archangels, Buddha, and all the love beings within the universe of being with us with every single difficult step. This win means a lot and the road is still long, but we finally see the light in front of us.
